Every poem published on The Ivory Rose is an original work written by me, Lauren Rose. Many of these pieces were written years before advances in generative AI, while others continue that same ongoing collection of personal writing. Please take note that all of my work (except a handful) are timestamped with the true date and time that I wrote them.

To accompany the poetry, I now create visual artwork using a combination of my own creative direction, design experience, and modern digital tools. The illustrations are intended to complement the poems – not create them.

The words come first. They always have.
