I was raised up into a bumble bee

I’ve seen things I never thought I’d see

Magic holsters at the second

Your pink pedal falls down

From the hibiscus tree

The birds can sense it oh do they tense when you

Go near their captured nest

Be honest if you mess up shedding

Ego is part of the test

Not every branch was perfect

But with string each one fit

Don’t settle just for pain

When you have a steady grip

At a chance to capture

Your own light

Into a gold an engulfing chimney

Angled at your own

Angles degree

I won’t rest until ive

Seen the better sun

Who doesn’t go down

When the easy day is done

Yet pokes at my iris

My bittersweet desires
