don’t fret baby just don’t forget
how good we really have it and
it’s about time that i knew now
that I know just which way to go
Don’t frolic in your foolishness
just save it for the jam and when
test taking time comes, we just
have to let go; we’re only human
we’re only human oh and –
there isn’t a point in getting lost
in your past, the future is on
it’s way so might as well just
swallow yourself in the moment
right here, right now
you can hear these words aloud
but we’re only human, now
money in your pocket
blond hair in your locket
destroying the ocean only
makes the world go round
you don’t know what you
had until you lost it but
what if you crossed it in
a dream, in a poem in a
theme of words that bring
up the passenger pigeon
extinct and no longer has
a home, just a throne in
some museum and that
alone will be the lives of
the unknown we haven’t
discovered how can we
unlock the love in our
hearts to bring new starts?
we’re only human, now
and you know what I smell?
a pollution revolution
smoldering in the background
but i won’t give up the fire
that i’ve found because it’s
comin’ to a town near you:
The pollution revolution…..
