I woke up with the sun
I sleep with the moon
Soggy warm air fills the room of the backyard I grew up in,
the one I’ll one day leave if I’m lucky enough to not break my mind again.

My golden hair is long
My soul is at peace
Skin scarred, who will look underneath?
For soberness is filled with the cicada’s rhythm,
courage whispers at my toes.

Being bald, being wild, being bold, like a grown up child
Finally settled into my fears without selling my soul

How long will i last before I become desperate and crass for a mere touch to fill my heart up
Its been a year and half, yet I just wait until sweet milk will dissolve into my teacup
