Thumbs smear the
Golden half sunken moon
All over the midnight sky

Creeping from beneath
Remedies you used to try
Refusing to go where all
The lost souls began to hide

Days used to end in a haze
Where in a walk there was
More to talk about than animated
Don’t get me wrong the
Complicated age has had some
The brain dead collecting
Within concreted shade

The stars aren’t out but
But you illuminate their light
Deconstructing beauty
So you can feel the bite
Of a hidden race that
Recreated duality in a
Routined emotionless city
